Cheryl Spiegel is an experienced Speech-Language Pathologist. She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of Connecticut, Master’s Degree in Speech and Hearing Science from The George Washington University, and a Master’s in Business Administration from Baruch College, Zicklin School of Business. In addition, Cheryl has trained in meditation and other relaxation practices at the Mind/ Body Medical Institute at Harvard’s Deaconess Hospital. She is certified by the American Speech-Language Hearing Association and licensed by the State of Connecticut, Department of Education.

Cheryl Spiegel’s experience as a Speech Pathologist includes working with children, adults, and those requiring medical rehabilitation. For children, her areas of expertise include: improving articulation, phonology, receptive and expressive language skills, pragmatic language, speech development, stuttering, and voice impairments.  She is very experienced working with children on the autistic spectrum and other disabilities. Areas of specialization with adult clients include: accent reduction, articulation, diction and public speaking, rehabilitation, speech feminization, stuttering, voice, and swallowing therapy. Cheryl combines her knowledge of speech modification and relaxation techniques to improve the client’s presentation and overall communication skills. She has administered speech therapy in private practice, the work place, public schools, and medical facilities. Cheryl Spiegel coauthored an important speech-language pathology resource book.

Therapy sessions are provided in the greater Danbury Connecticut area.                         
Private or group therapy sessions and flexible hours are available.
